Debajit Chattopadhyay
Debajit is a Civil Engineer with 23 years of experience in the Construction and Ready-mix Concrete industry. He has a deep understanding of Concrete Chemistry. Before setting up FirstChoice, he held many key positions at L&T and Lafarge. He was associated with L&T’s RMC business since its inception with establishing an RMC plant in Kolkata in 2003. He then moved to Lafarge and was heading the RMC vertical for South and East of India as a Senior Vice President. He has published more than ten technical papers and presented them in many National and International symposiums.
Satish Kumar Baratam
Satish is a Civil Engineer with 17 years of experience in the Cement and Ready-Mix Concrete industry. Before setting up FirstChoice, he held many responsible senior positions at L&T, Lafarge and Bharathi Cement. He profoundly understands Cement and Concrete, helping him adapt to the industry's ever-changing needs. For example, he ramped up higher capacity RMC plants with 60 cum/hr when the trend was 30 cum/hr. He also introduced higher-capacity concrete pumps in the market, which changed the dynamics of RMC deliveries. He is instrumental in setting up the FirstChoice plant from concept to commissioning and has a record of increasing revenues. He is skilled in Cement Material & Technology, Analytical Skills, Business Development, and Marketing Strategy. He is an out-and-out team player with strong leadership qualities and has a balanced team that consistently performs and exceeds the set goals.
